Come Along - join me for my
Play along and have some fun - please join my FREE Mystery Quilt Along
I never really imagined I would host one Quilt Along, let alone two, but since many of you asked for another one I thought why not.
So many of us are staying at home practicing social distancing. We can't have classes physically, but we can still come together electronically and do some of the things we love to do. We are all in this together and my hope is that this will keep us connected and pass the time in a meaningful way.
Maybe you just finished my first-ever Quilt Along - Spinning Wheels and have some scrappy 2½" squares left, or you have leftover pre-cuts you can cut into 2½" squares.
Did you know you can use 2½" pre-cut strips, 5" charms, or 10" squares to make your scrappy little gem squares? - I call them gems - not sure if it is the official word for 2½" squares, but they seem like little gems to me.
You can get 16 of these little gems from one 2½" pre-cut strip, 4 from a 5" charm square, or another 16 from a 10" square. You will need 12 gems for each block and that is all I will reveal today. The blocks are still a secret, that is just part of the fun.
Let me explain how this works:
Tomorrow, April 1st, 2020 at 10:00am I will introduce the Mystery Quilt Along on Facebook live. This time I will live stream from my Facebook business page, so more people can see the videos live. Please jump over to my Facebook business page.
The same day I will publish the full cutting instructions for the Mystery Quilt Along.
Please sign up for my blog to get notifications so you don't miss any postings.
This Quilt Along is a little more spaced out - partly to give everyone time to catch up and also to give me a little more time to post and prepare.
